You’ll learn all about Devler.io in this article–the pros, the cons, and everything in between. We’ve also dropped in a few good alternatives in case Devler.io doesn’t tick all the boxes for you.
What is Devler.io?
Devler.io is a tech-focused hiring marketplace that provides businesses with vetted remote developers from Europe. They allow companies to hire freelance contract developers or hire permanently in-house.
Devler was founded by Yurii Dobrianskyi in 2021. It is headquartered in Ukraine with an office in the United States.
How do you hire software developers on Devler.io?
Devler connects you with developers in 5 steps:
Book a call through their online scheduler or fill out a form on the website.
A manager at Devler will contact you to discuss your project details.
Devler sends you profiles of devs with the skills you need for the project.
You will have an opportunity to interview the shortlisted devs.
After choosing a dev, you’ll sign contracts and make an advance deposit, then the developer will start working on your project.
How does Devler.io vet developers?Devler.io doesn’t have a strong vetting process. Candidates are added once they pass Devler.io’s 3-step screening process:
A background and resume check.
English and soft skills test.
A technical interview with recruiters.
Devler.io Client Reviews
Since Devler.io is fairly new to the market, there is little info about what customers say about it. Currently, there’s a single review by a customer on Trustpilot. She liked Devler’s quick communication and professionalism.
What is Devler.io’s pricing?
Devler.io’s developers usually charge between $35 and $75, depending on the candidate's skill level. You will also have to pay Devler.io an additional 10% fee of the developer’s rates.
Since at least 80 work hours per month are required, expect to pay at least $3080 monthly for contract hires, though this will be for a junior developer. Throughout the project you must use your in-app wallet to top up your account balance every month. This amount depends on the developer’s rate.
